Various national statistics show that many families and children living in the areas of Church Hill, Matchborough, Winyates & Woodrow are living in circumstances that severely restrict their ability to experience activities that more affluent families may consider normal. This project aims to increase the opportunities to those families who are facing those challenges and barriers. 

 

Thanks to the awarding of a Redditch Borough Council Voluntary Sector Grant, we are able to make this project happen. 

 

The project focuses on providing positive activities and outings to various recreational and/or educational places in and around Worcestershire. Four day trips will take place throughtout 2016, in April, May, August and December - to fit in with school holidays. The planned trips are as follows:

 

April - West Midlands Safari Park          (see pictures)

 

May - All Things Wild          (see pictures)

 

August - Weston-super-Mare

 

December - Pantomine
